I've had the Project Life layout for last week finished for a couple of days (Hard to believe, I know!), but I wanted to wait and make sure nothing too exciting happened over the weekend that I needed to include. Braden did have his first basketball game of the season on Saturday, but I didn't get any great pictures (it's so hard to take good pictures inside a gymnasium), and I already had an OK one from his practice earlier in the week, so I decided that was good enough. Here it is!

I used a new kit for these pages, the Bridgeport Edition Childhood Mini Kit. When the Childhood Mini Kits first came out, I wasn't sure if I wanted to get one, but then I saw some paper layouts by Tracy Larsen, and I was sold! :) I think it works perfectly for this week, which included a class field trip, a drawing Braden did at school, and a picture from math class that Braden's teacher emailed (so glad she did that!).
I'm not sure how I feel about the card that says, "Imagination is more important than knowledge." I know it's a quote by Albert Einstein (or so it claims), and I know imagination is important... but, I don't think I quite agree that it is MORE important than knowledge. I tend to think knowledge is pretty important, and a healthy dose of the two would be good. Just sayin'. :) I like the card, though, and it fits with Braden's cyclops drawing, the color tile design they were making in math, and visiting the art museum. So, I went with it.
In other news, I'm waiting for a bright orange package to arrive in the mail this week. More on that later! Hee hee! :)
In more other news, I just finished and uploaded my Project Life pages for Week 16 of 2012. I dated the blog post for Dec. 31, 2012, so it would stay in order with the rest of the 2012 Project Life posts, even though the pictures are from last April. :) Click the picture below (or here) to go to that post.
