Happy Friday! Have you had a good week? This was our first week back to school, and I was a little worried about getting back into the swing of things after enjoying a leisurely Christmas break, but it went well. Braden is already counting down the days until summer break, though. ;)


1. "Have you been tickled today?"
2. David prepared a whole week's worth of healthy breakfasts and lunches. He says he's doing something different for next week -- not a fan of the big salad or the greek yogurt.


3. A side salad is nice, though.
4. Braden had a lot of fun going to the art museum for a school field trip. When I asked him what they saw, he said, "A bunch of neckid statues." Um... OK... I've been there, and I don't remember seeing any (and I know how to spell naked, but that's how he says it). :) I asked him what his favorite thing was that they saw, and he said, "The biggest neckid statue that was bronze." Oh, boy... I asked him if it was a man or a woman, and he said he wasn't sure, so I'm thinking it must not have been THAT neckid. ;)


5. The weather warmed up slightly, so Braden got to try out the new bike he got from Santa. He was a bit wobbly at first, but got the hang of it after a few minutes (it's bigger than his old bike).
6. After Cam's preschool fitness class, his teacher showed me how he had walked holding her hands with one foot on and one foot off of the balance beam. He's pretty cautious and scared to try new things, so this was a big step. She was so proud of him! :)


7. We saw a big double rainbow on the way home from getting haircuts yesterday afternoon. It was huge! And bright. Really cool. Braden took this picture for me - I was not photographing a rainbow while driving on the interstate.
8. We ate dinner at McDonald's after school between haircuts and basketball practice. Cameron dropped his fries on the floor, and then said, "Womp, womp." It was funny.


9. I worked on Project Life during basketball practice. Cameron was being really whiny, so he stayed home with David (who thankfully got home from work before we had to leave for practice).
10. Braden (finally) lost his front tooth! It's been hanging out at a weird angle for weeks.

And that's all for now, folks! It's supposed to be in the mid-60's today, so we may have to head outside in a bit. I'm debating whether or not to take a Claritin... I always seem to get a headache after being outside. Anywho... have a happy Friday!
