Whew! 2010 Scrapped

There's nothing like a deadline to get the creative juices flowing. I had a credit at Shutterfly that expired Tuesday night, and I worked feverishly to get my 2010 photo book ready to order in time. It came down to the wire, but I made it!

My computer is on its last leg of RAM, so it takes forever to open or save Photoshop documents. Since it has to put all its umph into Photoshop, I can't check my email or surf the net while waiting. So...
Computer running on fumes = No digital multi-tasking = Laundry done (bonus!).

This will be my first photo book of scrapbook layouts, and I can't wait to see it in person! Here are the new pages:

2010-December-Daily-600

P.S. I've posted most of my layouts here on the blog, so if you're related to me, and you come to my house, I'll probably want to show you the book, so just pretend like you haven't already seen every page, and humor me by flipping through the real thing. :)

  2. Thanks, Lesley! I had most of the photo book organized on Shutterfly already, but I had some pages to finish and add, and then I had to do the cover design. It usually takes me several days to do one layout, so I'm a little amazed that I actually got it in on time. :)

  3. Congrats!! Love the December Daily layout! Did you make the book 8X8 or 12X12 in the end? I started with 8X8, but over time, felt that because I squeeze so many photos into a page, 12X12 enabled each photo to show up better, not to mention as we get older the eyesight needs more help :) Enjoy your book!!!

  4. Thanks, Yin! I ended up going with the 8x8 because that's all my credit would cover. :) I will see what I think of it, and maybe try the 12x12 next time. I do like to see everything nice and big!

  5. Hi Jenny,
Thanks for visiting my blog. I found your blog a few days ago via your Philippians 4:8 printable that I saw on pinterest - I actually commented on the one you had commented on about you being the designer. When I visited your blog the other day I realized we have much in common. Digi scrapping, (I had a LOTW at Shabby Princess too) teaching at a Christian school, Jesus, and two sons (I have a Cameron too!). I was reading your blog from my new computer b/c mine also had been on it's last leg of RAM - and after lots of hinting and suggesting, finally hubby said we could get a new one! Hooray! I'm now looking forward to catching up on lots of scrapping, especially of our holiday to the US last year - can't wait to get that finished and printed up into a book too! Your scrap layouts are just gorgeous!
