Well, I'm about 6 months late, but I finally got Braden's 4th Year slideshow finished! For the past three years, I have made a photo slideshow that starts at his previous birthday party and goes throughout the following year. For the past two years, I have tried to choose songs that were significant - either songs that Braden liked or songs that went with something (like a movie or character he liked). At his 2nd and 3rd birthday parties, I showed the slideshow to all the party guests. His 4th birthday party was at Chick-fil-A, so we didn't get to watch it at the party. That's probably a good thing, since it wasn't completed until now! :) Here are the songs I chose for his 4th Year slidesow:
The Chase - by The Wiggles
McQueen and Sally - from the movie Cars
Seven Days a Week - by the Imagination Movers
Hot Dog! - by They Might Be Giants (from Mickey Mouse Clubhouse)
Behind the Clouds - by Brad Paisley (from Cars)
Down to Earth - by Peter Gabriel (from Wall-E) Note: Wall-E was the first movie Braden ever saw in the theater.
Please and Thank You - by the Imagination Movers

Jenny,
ReplyDeleteI enjoy watching your family grow! I was so excited to hear that you had another baby. I know that was your heart's desire while I was at Providence. I thought of you today, because I have an interview for teaching 2nd grade at a Classical School in springfield. I would love any insight on second grade. I have had the majority of my experience in kindergarten and preschool. I've heard second grade is a wonderful grade. Anyways, I would love to hear from you. You do a wonderful job with your web-site and photographs.
Blessings,
Kristin Temple
Thanks so much, Kristin! I am looking for your email address so I can get in touch with you. :)
