We saw the baby's heartbeat, and he or she measured 1.25 cm, which is right on target for the gestational age. The ultrasound calculates the due date at February 28, 2009. Braden still doesn't know that there is for sure a baby in Mommy's tummy, but he prays about it almost daily. He talks about there being a baby in Mommy's tummy, he asks God to put a baby in Mommy's tummy, and he even tells God thank you for the baby in Mommy's tummy. Kids sometimes just know these things (or maybe he's picked up on more in our conversations than we realize - even though we're avoiding saying the B-A-B-Y word). He is a really sweet little boy, and we can't wait to make him a big brother. We have planned to hold off on telling him because we dread the constant question of, "Is the baby coming TODAY?" We'll see how long we can hold out!
