Cameron is 2 months old (as of Saturday, the 18th)! I really can't believe how big he is. Time is just flying by! Here are his current stats:
weight: 13 lbs. - 80th%
length: 23 1/2" - 75th%
head: 16" - 75th%
His appointment with the doctor on Tuesday went fine. He got his 2-month immunizations. Of course he cried, but compared to Braden's 4-yr-old shots, it was a breeze. He did run a little bit of a fever for the next couple of days, but he seems to be completely back to normal today. He is now wearing some of his 3-6 month sized clothes and we're opening up the size 2 diapers tonight.
Here's something fun...
Wednesday, I took Braden and Cameron out to eat at Chick-fil-A (it was the first time we had eaten inside since before C was born. Sadly, Ms. Judith wasn't there). Anyway, Braden traded in his kids' meal prize for an ice cream. He went up to the counter all by himself and asked very nicely. He was so excited to get it in a cone (we have always done the bowl in the past)! He let me share the ice cream, but he ate the whole cone. When it was time to go, he wanted to get a blue balloon, so we did. When we got home, he went to play outside while I got ready to feed Cameron. After a few minutes, he came running back in the house and said that his balloon was WAY up high in the sky! I freaked out a little bit on the inside thinking that he might be very upset about this, but no. He thought it was the coolest thing. I ran outside to see it float away, and we both sat in the grass and watched it until it was a teeny tiny dot, and then finally nothing at all. Braden said it went into outer space. I wonder if a balloon can really do that? I figure at some point it will either pop or come back down. Anyway, it was fun.
