Braden makes me laugh!

Braden made me laugh several times today.

1. After watching "Ze Fronk" (the cartoon chef on Playhouse Disney) make a turkey wrap, Braden wanted to have one for lunch (well, actually he wanted to make the cherry tomatoes filled with cottage cheese and topped with sugar sprinkles, but thank goodness, we didn't have any cherry tomatoes or cottage cheese... we did have sprinkles, but that's not the point. It sounded really gross to me). Anyway, we didn't have any wheat tortillas to make a wrap, so we made turkey sandwiches instead. Braden had a great time making his sandwich, and wanted to put everything on it that Ze Fronk had put on his (including turkey, cheese, lettuce, "dressing" - a.k.a. mayo -, and shredded carrots). I made one for myself as well (minus the carrots, plus Grey Poupon), and we got ready to eat our healthy lunch. Braden took one bite of his sandwich, and a bunch of lettuce and a big piece of turkey lunchmeat ended up either falling to the plate or hanging out of his mouth. I tried to explain that he had to bite really hard to go through all the layers, but he couldn't quite do it. I finally cut 1/4 of his sandwich into bite-size pieces, and he managed to eat most of them. I told him that next time, we would just do turkey and cheese so that all the lettuce wouldn't fall out, and he said, "Next time, I won't have a turkey sandwich." :)

2. At dinner, Braden leaned back in his chair, put his hands behind his head, and said, "So, Mama... How was your day?" :)

3. Before bed, Braden always gets his clothes ready for the next day. He knew that tomorrow was Thursday, so he was picking out what clothes he would wear to preschool. I was "working" on the computer while he was doing this, and he came to me after a few minutes, and said, "Mama... The day after Thursday, I won't have any socks." I said, "OK... I'll do your laundry." :)
