Journaling:
"Christmas Eve is always an exciting time at our house, but Cameron and I were both sick this year. David made Potato Leek Soup before he went to the Christmas Eve service alone. The boys drew pictures for Santa, and we set out milk & cookies and carrots for the reindeer. Braden anxiously watched Santa travel closer to the U.S. on the Google Santa Tracker, and Cameron said he was not coming out of the room after bedtime. They couldn’t wait to wake up and see what Santa brought and find out which presents under the tree were theirs."

Journaling:
"I heard the boys whispering through the monitor when my alarm went off at 6AM. They were thrilled to see that Santa came! They got a Plasma Car scooter, which proved to be fun for ALL ages. Braden made David a book all about why he loves his dad, and Cameron made an ornament for me. We enjoyed spending time together celebrating the birth of our Lord."
I've been sick with a nasty cold for the last week, but I had enough energy to scrap a little. :) I haven't made much progress on finishing my Project Life pages for 2013. It just hasn't appealed to me lately, and I've been more inspired to do some "traditional" digital scrapbooking instead. I'm thinking a lot about how or if I want to do Project Life in 2014. I'll probably post about that later. Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!
P.S. I don't feel like uploading all the previews of the digital scrapbooking products I used, but if you click on one of the images above, it will take you to Flickr, where all the supplies are credited. :)
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE all of your globes on your mantle! I've been collecting old globes for years, but I have them all strung out throughout the house. I really like the look of them all together!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Tracie! I love globes! :) I have a few scattered around the house as well. Our mantle is hard to decorate because it's so deep, but the globes easily fill up the space. I love it when they're all crammed on top of cabinets or bookcases too -- like Meg's kitchen at the craft house (whatever blog). :)
DeleteOh wow! I just looked up that blog and I LOVE that idea!! Our cabinets in our new kitchen have glass door display shelves up top. I've been struggling with what to put up there! I'll have to round up the globes and try them out! I think they should look really nice as our new kitchen table (which isn't in yet) is blue! Thanks for pointing me that direction!
ReplyDeleteJust now saw your comment, Tracie. I hope your globes work nicely on display in your new kitchen! I would love a blue kitchen table - how fun! :)
