I read an article by Emily Henderson about how to choose the right size rug. It's a good read. She said, "Buying a rug is like buying a dress for your grandma," and in another article, she compared old rugs to "your cool grandpa that wears leather elbow patches and has worn the same watch for 40 years." I love that. :) Anyway... opinions?
UPDATE: I made a decision! :) I didn't pick any of the ones I posted above... I picked this one:
I pinned it a loooong time ago, and I'm always drawn to it every time I scroll through all my rug pins. The site where I originally found it was a little obscure and pricey, though, so I figured I would never actually buy it. However... when I was scouring through all the affordable rugs I could find online this weekend, it popped on Wayfair.com for about $200 less than the original one! Then, I decided to do a search just for that specific rug, and found it on Overstock.com for 50% off! Woo-Hoo! David gave the thumbs up (he didn't like ANY of the four I posted above), so we were good to go! It should be arriving at the end of the week. I'm excited!!
While I was playing around in Photoshop, I also digitally painted our walls with Sherwin Williams Rainwashed. A friend just painted some of her walls that color, and it is LOVELY. I don't know if our actual walls will ever get painted in real life, but maybe!
