2013 Project Life | Texas Family Reunion

Howdy! I just finished a spread for the reunion we went to with David's family in Texas this summer. I used the new "Brilliant" kit by Splendid Fiins, which is available over at The Lily Pad.

I wrote more about our trip and posted all the Instagrams I took that day a few months ago. I'm thinking about doing an insert page with all the Instagrams, but I don't have that all figured out yet, and now you can see them below. :)

Ooh! I almost forgot! The insert was completely inspired by Sara @ Peterson Stories. I saw this on Pinterest, and I've been wanting to do a page like it ever since.

I used the square photo spots from this template set and created the rest of it using the shape tools in Photoshop. One thing I love about using digital inserts in photobooks -- I can make them any width I want. The ones for this week are approximately 9 inches wide. I don't know of any 9x12 page protectors for sale anywhere, do you? ;) So... I was curious, and apparently sheet music is 9x12, and they actually DO make 9x12 page protectors! Ha! There you go. Learn something new everyday. :)

Here are all the digital scrapbooking products I used:

I created the template I used this week. It's very similar to the ones by Cathy Zielske.

    1. Thank you, Yin! The "B" is Marcelle Script. I will put our actual last name on it when it gets printed. :)

  2. Wonderful layouts! Such a great tribute to a family reunion. Love the shot of all the great grandkids. I wish I had a similar one with my great grandparents and all of us. Such a treasure.
