They were both assigned "All About Me" projects the first week of school, and we had a LOT of fun working on them! I suggested to Braden that he might like to do his in a Project Life page protector, and he was all for it (YAY!). :) Here's what he did:
He chose all the categories for his favorite things and chose the photos to use. I put them in the collages (Designs by Lili) in Photoshop and printed them out for him. I also designed the tab cards (in PS with the custom shape tool) for him to write the categories and information on and slip in behind the photos. He turned them around to show through the back so he could see them while giving his presentation. Later, when he puts this in his Project Life album (YES! He's doing his own!), he'll turn them around so when you slide the card out, you can read it without removing it completely.
Here's a close-up:
Cameron had a worksheet to fill in, and really wanted photos on his (like Bubby's), so I scanned it, opened the PDF in Photoshop, and added template spots. A little over-the-top? Maybe... but he loved it! Here's how his turned out:
Cameron's was more of a Mom project, but he did get to choose several items to take in a bag for show-and-tell. He chose a Froggy book, his "Princess Peach" crown, and a Larry Boy character toy. Perfect.
I love that their teachers both assigned these projects for the beginning of the school year. We've been blessed with great teachers!
Love the detail put into your boys pages! Great idea & it looks so clean. Beautiful job!
