Here's our past week in Instagrams. :)
Palm Sunday. Braden participated in the palm processional with several friends. Cameron joined us in "big church" (he usually stays in the nursery). He let out a few exasperated sighs at the beginning of the service, and my friend sitting behind us leaned up and asked if he gets that from me (ha!). :) He settled in, though, and was very quiet all through the sermon. I was impressed. :)
David's been cooking some "Paleo" dinners lately, and they've all been really good. This one is Chipotle Meatballs with Guacamole from Health-Bent. It was a little heavy on the oregano for my taste, but still yummy. David makes the BEST guacamole (thank you, Alton Brown). He just did a half batch to go with the meatballs.
Braden found an old Batman coloring book, and has had a lot of fun with it. He really likes to color. I forgot to tell him about Spirit Day at school, so I put a note somewhere I knew he would see it when he woke up. Ha.
Cam and I took a little nap Thursday afternoon. After school, we went shopping for a birthday gift for Braden's friend. We found this awesome Egyptian Pharaoh hat. The 2nd graders study The Old Testament and Ancient Egypt together for their History and Bible curriculum. We didn't buy it, but I snapped a picture anyway. :)
I took the boys to eat at Steak 'n Shake for dinner after birthday gift shopping. Braden was excited to get a milkshake. Cameron didn't request one, but wanted one when we got lunch at Sonic today. He loves the cherries! (and we've been eating out too often!)
