Story:
December 2, 2011
We went to see Santa today. When we drove into the mall area and saw the decorations, Cameron asked, “Is dis Chwistmas?” :) When we got to the food court, Cam walked right up to Santa and told him that he wanted “Thomas and Percy and the Tractor!” Braden asked for Wii games, a Bat Cave, and a Joker Cave. Santa spent some extra time showing the boys photos of his real live reindeer in Alaska. We ate lunch at Subway right after, and Braden said (with wide eyes), “I never knew Rudolph was really a REAL reindeer!” Thank you, Santa. We played outside for a bit, and Cameron was in awe of the fountain. On our way out, we stopped at Payless for a fruitless but not tantrum-less hunt for new shoes for Cam. Oh, well. After nap, we ordered pizza (David went straight from work to a tennis match), and then went to our school’s Christmas musical, “Dude, You Hear What I Hear?”. It was great! When we walked into the church, and Cameron saw the Christmas decorations, he asked again, “Is dis Chwistmas?” I tried to explain.
