I Miss Scrapbooking

Sigh... I haven't scrapped any pages in over a month. I guess that's what happens when you go back to work. Don't get me wrong - I love my job, and I know without a doubt that I'm doing what I'm supposed to be doing. But, OH, how I miss scrapbooking. I was talking to one of the moms yesterday, and she's a digi-scrapper too. I think she's only one of two other people I've met in real live that do DIGITAL scrapbooking (the other one is a mom from school, too). I could have talked to her for a couple of hours, but we only had a mere 20 minutes to chat in the blazing sun while she attempted to get some cute pics of our first graders playing at recess. I went to a wonderful photography class last Saturday, but I've been so overwhelmed with school stuff, that I haven't even had a chance to really try out the new techniques I learned. I just want time to sloooowwww down (well, I want to keep going to same speed, but have everything else slow down so I can get ahead). That's not going to happen, so I'm going to have to figure out how to do ALL of my school work (on time), teach Braden on our at-home days, play with Cameron, clean the house, spend time with David, etc. and still find time to scrap a few pages. By the way, David makes fun of me when I say something about "scrapping." I think he envisions a playground scuffle or a street fight. Anyway... Just thought I'd share. I'll go back to scanning in phonics charts now so I can attempt to make overheads of them, and then maybe I'll start rewriting the phonics curriculum that makes my head spin every time I try to read it. Nighty-night. :)
