Cameron's Words & Signs

I needed to get these things written down so I wouldn't forget! :)

WORDS
Mama
Dada (sometimes Daddy)
Bubba
Uh-oh (He uses different vowel sounds, but always matches the intonation)
Thank You (usually sounds like "A-E." Again, he doesn't use the correct letter sounds, but uses the correct intonation and voice inflection)
yeah (says it like a question when pointing to something he wants to touch)
on (sounds like "ah" but he says it when pointing to the light switch)

SOUNDS
He makes a motor noise when pushing his (or Braden's) cars around. He growls when he plays with his lion puzzle piece, says oo-oo when he has the gorilla, and says h-h for the rabbit (because I always say the rabbit goes "hop hop").

SIGNS
Some of these he's been signing for a long time (milk, more, and finished). He just added ball and play in the last couple of weeks.

milk
more
finished
change (while changing his diaper)
light
ball
play (looks like the sign for 10 because he doesn't stick his pinky out)

Cameron signing "more" and "finished"

Signs we're currently introducing:
eat
water
bird
dog
shoes
socks
book
airplane

June 5, 2010 - Update: Cameron now signs "shoes" and "cold".

Other Random Things
He points to things. He waves hi and bye. He started giving kisses this last week (which is so precious). He gives "5" and will sometimes blow kisses also. When he's tired and I ask him if he's tired, he leans back and puts his hands behind his head (which is how he often sleeps). He will also lean back in his high chair or car seat to let me buckle him in if I say, "lean back."

Update (like 5 seconds after I added this post): He just signed "shoes" (it looked like "more" but I knew what he meant). I think we may be entering a signing explosion! :)
