*I actually have TWO spreads to share! I finished Week 28 before this post was scheduled to publish, so I decided to include it. Bonus! :)

I didn't really use a kit this week. Instead, I pulled colors from the photos and used Photoshop brushes (with the exception of the 4th of July card - I used papers on that one). I decided to use the calendar card by Splendid Fiins (which is also a brush) as the title card. I had LOTS of photos, so I didn't need filler cards. I'm trying to cut back on the journaling as well. If I have a story to share, I will, but I want to focus more on the photos. Here are the close-ups:

The Amy Jaz template includes a dashed line between all the photos. I decided to change that out for some stitches. I used a brush that looks like stitches, and kept the size and spacing the same as what Amy had. I don't know if it looks much different. Apparently, I like to make things more complicated than necessary. ;)
We'll see if I stick with this format for a while or not. Wouldn't it be nice to have a cohesive album? Yeah... I think so! :)
*Here's Week 28! I used the same format as Week 27. Looks like I'll be sticking with it for at least two weeks. ;)
Enough with the smiley faces, right?? :) Had to add one more just for good measure. ;) Oops... I'll stop now.

Haha! We're kindred spirits, Jenny! I love to make things more complicated, too! =) Great pages!
ReplyDeleteHa! Thanks, Donna! Glad I'm not the only one. ;)
