2013 Project Life | Week 21

Hey there! Are you having a good July? We went to a family reunion in Texas over the fourth, and I have a lot of pictures to go through. I promised David's mom some prints, so I need to get on that! :) In the meantime, here's Week 21 (May 20-26) for Project Life Tuesday:

2013PL-Week21-Left-900

2013PL-Week21-Right-900

I didn't have photos or notes for every day this week, but I did have a lot from our trip to the botanical garden, so I decided to let that event fill the right page. I love the flexibility of Project Life!

I also love using frames in my layouts. I knew this about myself from the days before Project Life, but I kind-of forgot about it until recently. :) Here are a few old examples of my affinity for frames:

Outside-800 Wacky-Wednesday-800
10thAnniversary-800-public 2009-11-AlmostFive-800

Ahh... good times. :) It's so fun to go back and look at old pages, don't you think?

I'm linking up with Project Life Tuesday at The Mom Creative. Lots of inspiration there... go check it out! :)

  2. Love seeing you use the Rain edition. I don't have it yet but I'd like to get it. You made it look so nice with your pages. I also like the way you did your wedding photo!

    1. Thanks, Suzanne! That's my favorite picture from our wedding. I like it more than all of the posed portraits. :)

  4. This looks like such a fun week! I love the flexibility of PL as well; it's so nice to be able to use as few or as many pictures as you need. That little sketchy frame to draw the eye to your subject even in a group is such a great idea! And I love how you've used Rain as well. It's seemed a little dark to me, but seeing it on these pages, it's not as dark as I've thought as all. Clearly, I need to give it another thought...

    1. Thanks, Kelli! I thought Rain was kind-of dark at first too, but I've grown to really like it. I used it on a spread a few weeks ago, too. That is saying something, since I haven't repeated very many kits so far. That also probably says something about my addiction to buying new kits, but that's another story! Ha! I just keep telling myself that every hobby has expenses. ;)

    2. I looked back to find the other week where I used the Rain kit. :) It was Week 12. Here's the URL:

    3. Thanks, Jenny! I love that week, too! And I don't think I've heard about the Digi Files before, but it sounds like a great deal. So far I try to keep my purchases to a minimum, but with all the new PL kits coming out, I'm anticipating a lot of purchases I'll be wanting to make in the near future!

    4. You're welcome, Kelli! The Digi Files is great! I don't always love ALL the kits each month, but for $5.00 (I do the "files only" subscription), I think it's worth it since there's always at least one kit I do like! :)

  6. Hi Jenny, these pages are just awesome. You are definitely the master of digital project life! Love how vibrant the colours are, how seemingly easy it is to include so many images...but not make your layout look cluttered. Just really lovely. Well done.
