I am happy to report that I'm getting a little more comfortable with Photoshop CS6! I built this week's layout in Elements, but after I got all the papers and photos in place, I did everything else in CS6. I'm starting to get the hang of it! Yay! :)
I've seen a few Project Life layouts recently that combine square and rounded corners, and have white borders on the photos. Here are some great examples:

I'm loving that look, so I decided to try it on my own pages this week! It worked out great because I had a lot of photos and used the 4x6 photo templates from Designs by Lili, which I think are perfectly suited for square corners and white borders.
So, there you go! What's new with you this week?

So wonderful and bright and colorful, as always. You manage this miracle of using tons of colors without it looking too busy or garish; your spreads always just look so fun! It seems like your life is especially colorful, because it's not just your journal cards and embellishments, it's the photos themselves. Perhaps I need to start deliberately looking for more colorful parts of my life to photograph. I like how much journaling you include - you're a wordy girl, like me. What font do you use, and in what size? (If you do have time to answer, would you mind putting it in a comment on my blog? I always mean to come back & check but then I forget which post it was, etc...) I agree with you about the square/white border photos with rounded JCs - that's how I did my original PL album, which was a paper one back in 2010!
