Rockin' InstaFriday!

Last night, we went to Braden's school musical theater production (A Rockin' Royal Christmas), and it was AWESOME! He did great with all the choreography and singing, and got to be a sheep. It was adorable. We are so blessed to have such an amazing school. The musical was SO well done, but also boldly proclaimed the true message of Christmas.

Here's our week (November 30 - December 6, 2012)

1. David set up the tree and put on the lights last Friday night.
2. Cameron is SO excited about Christmas. He LOVES Christmas lights. He asks every single day, "Is it Christmas?"

3. We went out to dinner at Dixie Cafe Friday night, and had to wait a while for our table. Don't we look thrilled?
4. Banana pudding for dessert made everyone happy. Our waitress was really sweet, and gave us a double helping even though we ordered the mini size. She also called everyone "hon." :)

5. Cameron and I put out the rest of the Christmas decorations Saturday morning while David took Braden to tennis and swimming. Cam LOVES these singing and dancing snowmen.
6. Daddy tickle hugs! David was gone on a business trip all week (which included 8 flights in 4 days!). We were happy to have him home Friday night.

7. We had lunch at Panera after church on Sunday, and the boys wanted one of these fun Christmas tree cookies.
8. Enjoying the mild weather outside after eating steak dinner at Colton's. (we have been eating out way too much lately)

9. I made this bread for a faculty meeting at school. It's "The Bread" by The Pioneer Woman. I tasted it before I delivered it, and it was good (and easy even for a non-cook like myself).

10. Braden had to write a creative story set in the Old West. He looked at his school picture and drew a wanted poster of himself as Bad Brad, aka "B.B.," a bank robber.
11. Cameron stopped by on his way through the living room to ask if we wanted anything from McDonald's. Braden ordered a milkshake with 2 straws so he could share with me. We were sitting at the school table working on Braden's creative writing assignment.

13. Cam had fun sliding at recess after I was done serving pizza for lunch at Braden's school.
