Project Life | Week 13

Look at me on a roll! Ha! I've figured out that it takes me three days to complete a spread like this one if I work at it every chance I get (a couple of hours during nap and 2-3 hours+ at night). Man, that's a lot of hours for one page. I sure wish I could whip them out during only one naptime. That would be awesome. I know there are some digi-scrappers out there who can do that. I'm just not one of them. Oh, well. Whatever works. At least I'm caught up through March! :)

I enjoyed doing this week's layout. I had a LOT of good journaling to use, but not as many great photos. That worked out well since I used fewer photos and had a lot of space left to write.

I also tried out a few new tricks.  I added a thin rounded white line border on two of the photos using this video tutorial from Designer Digitals.  I also put shadows in the center of the two-page spread preview to make it look like a book.  I started with this tutorial from Tiffany Tillman, and then did trial and error until I got it looking like I wanted.  I think it turned out pretty cool.  :)
