InstaFriday!

Oh, yes, it's Friday night, and the feelin's right... wait, that's Ladies' night, isn't it? Anyway... I fully intended to do an Insta-September post like I did for August, but apparently I've grown quite fond of my friend, Mr. Instagram, and I have nearly 100 Instagram photos from September. That's too many for one post, so I'm just going to pick up where I am and do this week (starting with last Friday).

1. We played hookey from homeschool last Friday to take a field trip to Daddy's work (he forgot his gym bag, so we delivered it). On the way home, we decided to swing by the library... and then Krispy Kreme... and then Goodwill... When we were done with all that, it was time for lunch and nap.
2. The boys (and I) enjoyed watching the doughnut factory for quite a while.

3. Braden picked up this not-quite-level Labyrinth game at Goodwill. It was challenging and somewhat frustrating, but in a fun way.
4. The boys had fun looking through Cameron's baby book before bed. So sweet. Warmed this scrapbookin' mama's heart for sure. :)

5. David texted me this picture from swim lessons on Saturday morning and said: "See the white noodle? Do you see Braden? No? That's because he is completely under the water next to it!!!! GO B!!!!"
6. Braden kept talking during the Arkansas vs. A&M game, and David told him to be quiet so he could listen to the commentators, and said, "When you grow up and have that job, then I'll listen to you talk about football." Braden said, "I'm not going to do that job. My job will be at Krispy Kreme!"

7. The perfect, "I don't feel good, please feed me" meal. My husband is a wonderful cook, and he's also really good at getting take-out. I've been breaking out in hives again and having swelling and chest pain. It's frustrating and uncomfortable, but it could be worse, and I'm thankful that I mostly suffer in the evenings and not during the day when the boys are awake.
8. A couple of days later, I was feeling a little better, and enjoyed my favorite movie snack combo - popcorn and Milk Duds. Oh, yeah! It rocks. They are perfect together because they both get stuck in your teeth, and the popcorn pulls the caramel out, and the caramel pulls the popcorn out. Dentist recommended? Not likely. Tasty? YES. I over-indulged on this while David and I caught up on last season of The Big Bang Theory on DVD (Netflix).

9. Cameron built a tower of the peanut butters.
10. Braden made lunch for himself and Cameron while making an instructional video about how to make a peanut butter sandwich. Thanks, bub.

11. Aw, man... I really stink at taking care of plants. These actually look better in the photo than they do in person. :(  I won them at a recent moms' night at school for answering this question: "What is one of Wonder Woman's special tools?" So easy... her lasso of truth!  I wish I had a lasso of miracle grow for this mum.  When I brought it home, Braden asked if we were going to keep it or let it die. Sheesh. He knows me too well.
12. Popcorn and a movie (Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Sing-Along Songs) after nap.

13. On the way to school.
14. Last day of Cam's little exercise class. He loved playing hide-and-seek in this maze the teacher built. He was SO excited that the moms got to come in today. He wanted to hold my hand and be next to me during all the games. He even picked out a ladybug stamp for me at the end of class. Such a sweetie!

15. Cam is drinking out a big boy cup really well. I've been bringing this big cup of water with me to the pick-up line at school so I can drink it while we wait. I'm trying to drink 8 cups/day (I read that chronic hives can be caused by dehydration).
16. Pumpkin painting party for Bunco night. Can you guess which one is mine? I'll give you a hint... When I brought it home, David said it looked like a beach ball. Ha. Thanks, hon. Not exactly the look I was going for, but OK.

Well, that was fun, right? Instagram IS fun. David thinks it's ironic (and slightly ridiculous) that camera technology has come so far, and now we use filters to make our photos look all old and faded. Whatever. It's FUN. :)

I just discovered that a person came up with the idea for "Insta-Friday" and she has a linky party on her blog every Friday. So, I'm linking up!
