One Little Word

Cultivate.

This word keeps popping up around me, so I'm adopting it as my one little word for 2012. This is the first time I've chosen a word of the year, and I don't know how much I'll actually do with it, but I'm hoping that, if nothing else, it will pop into my mind often and remind me to take time to cultivate important things in my life.

Here's a little list I jotted down this morning.



I was very inspired a week or so ago by this post by The Nester on (in)courage (DaySpring's blog for women) about friendship.



I also saw this keychain on the Project Life site, and it reinforced the idea that I should actually choose a word, and that cultivate was the right word.



When I got online today, I saw that Layla at The Lettered Cottage had posted about her word of the year, and is hosting a linky party on January 16th. So, I'm planning to link up. :)
