Day 6: Snow!

It snowed! It was only a dusting, so we still had school, but the roads were pretty slippery. When I came out this morning, Cameron said, “It’s Chwistmas time! Can you come see the snow wif me? Come on, Mommy!” I think it’s so precious that he is just discovering what Christmas is. I wrote a story about it today in our writing lesson. My class thought it was really cute that he keeps asking, “Is dis Chwistmas?” Tonight I read a little board book to him called The Story of Christmas. It says that we give gifts to show our love and to say, “Happy Birthday, Jesus!” David picked the boys up from school today so I could attend a faculty meeting. After I got home, he needed to go back to work to finish up (he’s been super busy lately), and stayed until almost 10:00. :( Braden watched The Polar Express before bed. He set his bathrobe and flip flops at the foot of his bed just in case the Polar Express comes to our house. He wanted to know if he should come and tell me before he gets on the train or not. I said I would be worried if he got on a train without me, and that he should probably come and ask first. :)
