Story:
December 3, 2011
David took the boys grocery shopping this morning. Braden got gum at the “local” store (which was actually the liquor store… David needed bourbon for his pecan pie recipe). We at Loafin’ Joe’s while the boys napped, and then started cleaning so we could decorate. We moved furniture, cleaned out cobwebs, put up the tree, got the lights on, and called it quits in time to watch the SEC Championship. Braden was disappointed that we didn’t hang the “garlic” (garland) or the ornaments, but we’ll finish tomorrow. We ate fish for dinner before David left for another tennis tournament match. I put the boys to bed, and decided to try no paci for Cam since I think it’s causing problems with his teeth. It was rough, but I stayed strong because I know it will get easier. I sang him lots of songs, rocked him in the chair, let him sleep in Bubby’s bed, and brought in the CD player so he could listen to Baby Einstein. I may be giving him some new sleep crutches, but none of those things will make his teeth crooked or cause speech impediments, so I’m OK with them.
