December 10, 2011
David got up early and went to work for a little while. He brought donuts home for us. We all went to lunch at Chick-fil-A, and then he took Braden to see the new Muppet Movie while Cam and I went to Walmart. Cam was excited to go because we were getting a new Lightning McQueen and Francesco. Ours broke, so I said we could get new ones. I hope the replacements last a little longer. Saturday evening, we cleaned the house and got ready to go to my work Christmas party. Marlo came to babysit, which Braden was really excited about. The party was nice. The food was amazing (catered by a local chef), and we played fun games and listened to music. My favorite part was when the 5th grade teacher and her husband sang together. He played guitar, and it was just great. They led us in singing Silent Night and another song I didn’t know. I was glad I didn’t know it because I got to just sit and listen to them sing.
