So... David did the next best thing, and took the afternoon off work, so I could do whatever I wanted to at home. I scrapped. It was great.
I worked on my 2-page spread for January. My goal this year is to do a 2-page spread of the highlights from each month, and to actually complete one each month. I got the bulk of the January layout finished on my birthday, but it's not "done" yet, so I'm not posting it.
My scrapping mojo seems to be back for the moment (did I tell you it was gone for a while?), and I'm on a roll... I've completed TWO whole layouts in the past week! I think there are digital scrapbookers who can whip out two layouts in an hour. I'm not one of them. I'm s...l...o...w... These two came together rather quickly, though, and I really like both of them! OK, enough jibber-jabber. Here they are!
Fun in the Snow

Mind you, these are photos from our JANUARY snow days. I'm planning a whole 'nother spread for February's 2-foot blizzard.
Text Messages

These are are a bunch of text messages from David that I have saved on my phone. I have never deleted any of the ones from him. I have so many, that now, when I get a new text, a warning message shows up saying that my box is over 90% full, and I have to delete an old one before I can read the new one. I got the idea for this layout from this post on the Shabby Shoppe blog.
