Tomorrow, the Pre-K classes at Braden's school are eating green eggs and ham, so he wanted to read the book to me tonight. I was surprised that he could actually read it! He needed a little help with words like would and could, but he figured out almost all of the other words by himself! I know that the average child learns to read somewhere between the ages of 4 and 7, but still... when it's your baby doing it, it seems pretty amazing! :)
He also drew this map for his little friend at school so she would know how to get to our house.
The squares and rectangles next to the houses are their swing sets. He put a sun over his house and a moon over her house, so I asked him if she lived in China. He thought that was funny.
