Cameron is 5 Months Old!

I can't believe how time flies! Cameron turned 5 months old yesterday! He is such a good baby. I just love him so much! He's growing and changing every day. Today, David got the old exersaucer out of the attic for him to try. The nursery workers put him in one at church this morning, and he seemed to like it, so I decided it was time to try it at home. He played in it for a few minutes, and was very interested in the little musical toys. I'm sure he'll be bouncing and turning around in it in no time.

We had another little "first" today that makes me smile thinking about it. Just before I put Cameron down for his late afternoon nap, we sat in the rocking chair in his room and started reading Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?. As soon as I read, "what do you see?" Cameron turned and looked up at me so he could watch my face as I did the bear's voice saying, "I see a red bird looking at me." Then, he just grinned and turned back to look at the book. He did that with every page. He seemed to really like the bear, the sheep, and the goldfish (probably because I sound the funniest when I do their voices). Anyway, it was so cute.

He is so different than he was just a few weeks ago! I am really looking forward to all the new fun things we'll get to do together over the next few weeks and months as he learns to sit up and play more.
