Braden did some really sweet things yesterday. While I was taking a shower, Cameron started fussing in his crib and Braden went in to tell him that it was OK (he came to ask me if it was OK to do that first). As soon as Braden went in, Cameron stopped fussing. I couldn't really make out what Braden was saying through the monitor, but it sounded really sweet. He stayed with Cameron and held his hand until I could get his bottle ready. Such a sweet big brother! Then, later, Braden asked if he could feed Cameron his bottle. I was feeling brave and very proud of my sweet boy, so I agreed. He did a pretty good job. He wanted to feed him the whole bottle, but I intervened because he couldn't quite keep it straight so that Cameron could latch on. It was funny to watch Cameron's face. He just kept looking at me like, "Mom, what are you thinking letting this 4-year-old feed me?"
I'm also really proud of Braden for his ever-increasing math talents. At lunch, he was thinking about how old cousin Corbin would be when he was ___ (fill in the blank with whatever number you choose). Well, Corbin is two years older, and Braden kept going up and up saying, "When I'm 9, Corbin will be 11. When I'm 11, Corbin will be 13. When I'm 13, Corbin will be 15," etc. I think he went all the way up to 33. I told him he was skip counting and then we talked about how to count by 2's. He's getting so big!
How cute are your boys???
