Meltdown at the Mall

Entry from my first blogging attempt back in 2006... Today, Braden had a meltdown at the mall after I made the mistake of letting him ride a coin operated truck. He did NOT want to leave and cried “bus!” the whole way home (there was an ice cream truck ride that he thought was a bus). I told him we could go back some other day and ride the bus. He finally calmed down after I held his hand (difficult to do while driving 70 mph on the interstate) and gave him his paci. Of course, the first words out of his mouth when he woke up from his nap were “Ride truck!” I really hope I haven’t created a monster.
